Don Eazi, popularly known as Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur born Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade on July 19, 1991, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Raised in Lagos, he later moved to Ghana, where he studied at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). It was during his time in Ghana that he developed his unique "Banku Music" sound, blending Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian Afrobeats.

Mr Eazi’s music career officially took off around 2012. He gained major recognition in 2016 with the release of "Skin Tight" featuring Efya, followed by hits like "Leg Over" and "Pour Me Water." His breakthrough projects include mixtapes like "Life is Eazi, Vol. 1" and "Vol. 2." He is also the founder of emPawa Africa, a talent incubation program supporting emerging African artists such as Joeboy and Lady Donli. Mr Eazi has performed at major international festivals like Coachella and Afro Nation.

In addition to music, he has ventured into business, launching fintech platforms like PawaPay and founding the African Music Fund, aimed at supporting African artists financially. He continues to be a visionary artist and entrepreneur, blending music, culture, and business successfully.


Mr Eazi relocated to Kumasi in 2008 and enrolled at KNUST, where he began booking artists to perform at college parties.

He showed interest in music after recording a guest verse on "My Life", a song that gained traction and became a popular record at KNUST. 



Mr Eazi released his debut mixtape About to Blow in July 2013. He gained an international audience following the release of the Efya-assisted single "Skin Tight". 

His second mixtape Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos was released on 10 February 2017. In March 2018, several outlets reported that Mr Eazi signed a record deal with Diplo's label Mad Decent. Mr Eazi signed a licensing deal with Universal Africa, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. cc.
